WorthIt helps users scan items, estimate resale value, and keep track of appraisals. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your email address if you create an account, anonymous Firebase identifiers, item photos you upload for scans, scan results, feedback you submit during beta testing, app settings, and basic technical information needed to operate and protect the app.

If you join the WorthIt pre-launch waitlist, we collect the email address you provide, your consent to receive the launch notification, and the related waitlist offer. We use this information to tell you when WorthIt is available and to deliver the waitlist offer.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide scan and pricing features, process item photos, improve scan quality, operate beta feedback programs, provide support, maintain app security, and manage subscriptions or purchase restoration.

Photos and AI Processing

Item photos may be uploaded to Firebase Storage and sent to service providers that help identify items and generate resale estimates. Avoid uploading photos that contain sensitive personal information.

Purchases

WorthIt uses Apple in-app purchase and RevenueCat to manage Pro subscriptions and purchase restoration. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, including Firebase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, and marketplace data services, or when required for legal, safety, or security reasons.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, support users, improve services, and meet legal or operational requirements. Some uploaded scan images may be deleted by the app after they are no longer needed.

Your Choices

You can use WorthIt as a guest, create an account, restore purchases through Apple, and contact us to request help with privacy questions or account data. You can also ask us to remove your waitlist email address by contacting us at the address below.
